Maho Beach
Maho Beach is without a doubt the most action-packed beach on the island of St. Maarten. Maho Beach is located right behind the runway of Princess Juliana Airport in Dutch Sint Maarten. This is one of the most popular beaches on the island and travelers love to stand on the beach and take pictures of the incoming planes that fly so close to the shores.
Cole Bay Hill
Cole Bay Hill is the perfect perch for travelers to catch panoramic views of Philipsburg, St. Maarten’s Dutch capital, and nearby islands Saba, St. Eustatius, and Anguilla. In the mornings, sun glints off Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest inland body of water in the Caribbean, and in the evenings, travelers flock here for sunset snaps.
Orient Bay Beach
Orient Bay, also known as Baie Orientale, is located on the northeastern coast of French Saint Martin. Orient Bay Beach is often called the “Saint Tropez of the Caribbean” and is often compared to the beaches in southern France. Many tourists would argue that this is the best beach on the island of Saint Martin.
Marigot Local Market
In this temple of local produce and traditional specialties, you’ll find all the ingredients that have built the island’s culinary reputation. You’ll also find souvenirs, t-shirts, bags, dresses, and shirts of every color, as well as baseball caps and sunglasses stamped with emblems of the island and the Caribbean. These all make good gifts for you to take home or treat yourself.
Grand Case Village
Known as the food capital of the Caribbean, the district is home to a number of restaurants rated by Gault & Millau. They offer a delicious fusion of Creole flavors and the great traditions of French cuisine. It’s a worthy representation of the French art of living is worthily, against a truly stunning backdrop.
Front Steet, Philipsburg
Shopping is great throughout the island thanks to its duty-free status, but the best bargains on jewelry, china, electronics and more are found on Front Street in Philipsburg. Historic architecture, shopping galore and fabulous deals on jewelry. There are markets, hotels, restaurants and bars, a museum, a casino, a catholic church and even a courthouse.

My wife and I went on the Island ATV tour with Johnny’s ATV, with Melvin as our tour guide. We stopped to feed iguanas and do the “Moses” walk. We also went to Orient Beach, as well as Marigot. The ATV’s were easy to drive and well maintained. I highly recommend this tour!

Its a great trip Johnny organized for us. Our tour gide Malvin was amazing, he know a lot about the island and he is a really nice person they took us around all the famous spots and providing a lot of local info. Also found a great places to eat. The tour worth is is a great day trip.

We had a port day in St. Marteen. We were searching for an ATV tour that wasn’t booked through our ship. That’s when I found Johnny’s. And I’m so glad I did. Johnny was so kind answering my questions via WhatsApp and helping us when we arrived without our original CC we booked on. Oops. Tour guide Melvin took myself, my husband, and a family of four on tour. My husband and I on a 4wheeler and the other family on a Polaris. We had several beautiful stops. We were able to see the entire island and stop everywhere we were interested in seeing. We felt safe and very taken care of the entire time. We highly recommend Johnny’s to anyone visiting St. Marteen by land or sea.
